Essential Background

WWE Raw is a prominent weekly professional wrestling television program that showcases various storylines, rivalries, and matches featuring top WWE Superstars. The episode on October 5, 2026, was particularly significant as it was the "go-home show" before the highly anticipated Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. This means it was the final opportunity for competitors to build momentum and for key rivalries to intensify before the major championship bouts and the Money in the Bank Ladder Matches, where winners earn a contract for a championship match at any time of their choosing.

The Full Story

Wrestling fans actively searched for "raw results" and "wwe raw results" following the October 5, 2026, broadcast of WWE Raw from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The main drivers of this trend included the return of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, who confronted his Money in the Bank opponent, LA Knight, and brought back Solo Sikoa to join The Usos against the faction known as 946.

The night's main event, a Women's World Championship No. 1 Contender's Match between Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan, ended in a chaotic no-contest after Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer interfered. This interference led to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce being compelled to schedule a Triple Threat Match for the Women's World Championship at Money in the Bank, featuring Vaquer, Morgan, and Lynch. Other notable matches included Je'Von Evans and Penta defeating Bron Breakker and Austin Theory, Rey Fenix successfully defending his AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against Ethan Page, and Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day overcoming Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee.

Why It Matters

The heightened interest in "wrestling" and "wwe raw results" underscores the program's crucial role in shaping the landscape for the upcoming Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. The dramatic developments, particularly the controversial finish to the Women's World Championship contender's match and Roman Reigns' impactful return, have intensified existing rivalries and created new, compelling narratives. These events are vital for fan engagement, as they directly influence the championship picture and the outcomes of major matches, fueling anticipation and discussion within the professional wrestling community.
