Summary (tl;dr)

Ohioans are actively searching for Powerball winning numbers and local prize winners following the October 24, 2026 drawing, despite no one hitting the massive jackpot.

Essential Background

Powerball is a popular multi-state lottery game in the United States, with drawings held three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Players select five numbers from a main pool and one red Powerball number, aiming to match all six to win the jackpot, which can grow to hundreds of millions of dollars. There are also several lower-tier prize amounts for matching fewer numbers.

The Full Story

Following the Powerball drawing on Saturday, October 24, 2026, which featured an estimated $665 million jackpot, there has been a surge in searches for winning numbers and results, particularly from Ohio. While no ticket matched all winning numbers to claim the grand prize, leading to the jackpot rolling over to an estimated $687 million for the next drawing, there were numerous winners in Ohio for smaller prizes. The winning numbers for the October 24 drawing were 4, 5, 15, 19, 55, and Powerball 19, with a Power Play multiplier of 2x. The Ohio Lottery confirmed that thousands of players across the state won various prizes, including one individual who secured a $50,000 prize.

Why It Matters

The immense appeal of multi-state lotteries like Powerball stems from the life-changing sums offered, capturing widespread public interest. Even without a jackpot winner, the news of thousands of smaller prize winners, such as the $50,000 prize in Ohio, fuels local excitement and encourages more participation in future drawings. The escalating jackpot, now nearing $700 million, draws even greater attention as more people dream of striking it rich.
